Purrfect Paws is a mobile app designed to support cat owners in caring for their feline companions with love, ease, and a deep understanding of what makes cats so unique. From health records and appointment reminders to playtime alerts and helpful tips, the app brings together everything a cat parent needs, all in one beautifully crafted space.
Because cats aren’t just pets, they’re royalty. And they deserve the purrfect assistant.

Context & problem
Cats are majestic, mysterious, and often misunderstood. While there are countless apps dedicated to dogs, very few tools truly focus on the unique needs of cats and their humans. Existing solutions tend to be limited, generic, or overlook important aspects of feline care.
That’s where Purrfect Paws comes in. A dedicated app created to understand, support, and celebrate the bond between cats and their owners, with tailored features like health records, age-based reminders, feline-focused vet listings, and even playtime alerts.

Research
Before designing Purrfect Paws, I explored the current landscape of pet care tools to better understand how cat owners manage their pets’ needs. I looked into existing pet apps, user frustrations, and visual references to uncover the gaps in the experience particularly for feline companions.
The insights gathered helped shape a product that feels intuitive, specialized, and emotionally resonant for cat lovers.

The visual direction of Purrfect Paws was crafted to celebrate the unique bond between cats and their humans. The warm color palette, soft graphic shapes, and playful typography reflect this affectionate relationship.
The app features a dark mode interface to convey modernity and trust, creating a backdrop that allows the brand's vibrant colors and personality to shine.

The color palette was crafted to reflect a cat’s physical charm. Each shade is inspired by feline features: Nose Pink, Paw Pink, and Cat Eye Yellow.
The typography selected throughout Purrfect Paws reflects the playfulness of feline companions. The design language merges soft, friendly visuals with subtle modernity.
The photography style intentionally highlights quirky cat behavior and the bond that cat lovers cherish. The design decisions aim to reflect something that feels personal, cozy, and unmistakably cat-centric.
